Webalizer Stats Back Up
Finally have my web traffic statistics back up again. It wasn’t really that hard getting them set up — I was just looking for a better way to split my virtual hosts file under Apache 2. I finally just bagged that idea are started a separate access log for Highway 4.
Even with less than a day of logs to process, I am already seeing an access log spam (Thanks, UNIX-Girl.) issue I may eventually need to find some way of addressing.
I use Webalizer to process my log files. It makes parsing the access logs much nicer. If you use Webalizer, you would do yourself a favor to check out Tristan Louis’s Webalizer Configuration File samples over at TNL.net. Tristan has demonstrated that some judicious editing of the Webalizer configuration file can make a great tool even better.
